Gifted GRIT and Yoga 101

(8/8) UFO students enjoyed a Yoga 101 class today to practice mindfulness, breathing techniques, and several yoga poses. Afterwards, students were able to participate in GRIT time (Games Really Increase Thinking). This time allows students to collaborate, problem-solve, and develop their creativity with various games, manipulatives, and building materials. Mr. Varnon, and students also enjoyed a visit from Mrs. Hilliard's hamster, Pumpkin!
