Falling for Science: Discovering What Makes Life, Life!

(10/17): Sixth-grade science students at Pontotoc Middle School are loving the cooler fall weather! Classes recently took their learning outside for a fun “gallery walk” activity focused on the characteristics that determine if something is a living organism. Students walked from station to station, reading and discussing questions about what makes living things unique—like using energy, growing and developing, and responding to their environment. The fresh air and hands-on learning made science come to life.
