🦒💛 Giraffe Heroes Week in Gifted! 💛🦒

DTC gifted students spent time learning all about giraffes — and then discovered what it really means to be a Giraffe Hero: someone who cares deeply, shows courage, takes helpful action, and keeps going with persistence.

We talked about what it takes to “stick your neck out” for others and looked for Giraffe Heroes right here in our hometown — administrators, nurses, lawyers, teachers, moms, dads, and so many more who make a difference every day.

It’s been a wonderful week celebrating the amazing people we know and love who make our community a better place! ❤️👏
