A Taste of Colonial America

(12/5) Fourth grade gifted students had a *butter-making blast* this week! 🧈✨ As part of their study on George Washington, students shook their way to homemade butter and discovered firsthand how matter can transform. They learned that science played a BIG part in Colonial times!
The next day, they stepped back in time and explored a taste of colonial America by learning about George Washington’s favorite breakfast—hoecakes with honey. 🍯🥞 Students enjoyed experiencing an authentic colonial meal and making connections between history and daily life.
Hands-on learning at its best! 💡📚🍽️
