Biology in Motion

(9/15) Yesterday, while studying passive and active transport, biology students at the top of the hill simply let go of a beach ball using no energy, and the ball was able to cross the “grass membrane” (Passive Transport).

Meanwhile, students at the bottom of the hill had to actively work/kick/use energy to get the beach ball back up across the “grass membrane” hill (Active Transport).
