Pontotoc Elementary School News

10/21/24 National School Lunch Week was celebrated with a pirate theme in the cafeteria this week with Spaghetti and Cannonballs and Shipwreck Stew. The cafeteria created lucky trays. Students checked under their trays after they finished their meal to find out if they won a National School Lunch cup, pencil, slap bracelet, or a temporary tattoo!

10/07/24 Ms. Stephanie and Ms. Ana's class have been working on fact families. Today, the students got to use fact family boards to make their addition and subtraction problems

10/07/24 Ms. Ellen's class at the QU wedding last week!

10/01/24 1st grade students in Mrs. Jill, Ms. Heather's and Mrs Heatherly's classes had a wedding today for letters Q and U. Mr. Bailey officiated. Some students were bridesmaids and groomsmen while others watched the blissful event. Dr. Pollard live painted the event as it happened.
