Pontotoc Elementary School News

(11/3) Reading Rally 💥 is a challenge to raise money for our school. How many books can you read? Get donations 💰 per book or a flat donation. There will be prizes with the most coveted being a trip to Corner Cravings 🍧 or a FAST PASS for the car rider line! We will have a few videos coming up so stay tuned! The Pledge Sheet and Book Tracker also went home. 📖

(11/3) Students at PES experience the Play Lab!

(11/3) Teachers decorated their doors and bulletin boards for Red Ribbon Week. Community members, Phyllis High, Jeremy Mask, Jim Littlejohn, Betsy Ritchie, judged the doors and there was one winner per grade. Ms. Carson in preK. Mrs. Cother in Kindergarten. Mrs. Williams in 1st and Mrs. Vance in 2nd. Mrs. Tobi brought donuts and juice to those classrooms for winning g!

(11/3) Mrs. Lea’s class loves using their whisper phones for independent work and testing.

A birthday 🎂 and Positive Office Referral winner 🏆

Mrs. Lea’s class is practicing their subtraction skills with a tasty Skittle manipulative!

Mrs. Reagan and parents of students in Mrs. Alyssa’s room surprised her with a shower from their class Monday! The students loved getting to watch her open gifts for her sweet baby boy, Wyatt James. They also loved getting to eat yummy food together in the classroom!

Mrs. Jessie and Miss Cassie’s class practiced their addition and subtraction skills with various math activities. Math is more fun with pictures, manipulatives and dry erase markers!
