(5/12) Given index cards, Mrs. Kirk's students made flash cards by cutting the sides and putting a factor in the middle. When they flip the side it gives the product. The other side is division.

(5/12) Please join our fourth graders for a final walk down the halls of D.T. Cox Elementary. Parents may begin lining the hallway at 9:50.

(5/9) DT Cox PTO made our staff's day "Goodr"!! Thank you for the sunglasses!! You are the best!!

(5/9) Academic Awards Day will be held on Thursday, May 15th. Fourth Grade awards will begin at 10:00am. Third grade awards will be held at 12:00pm. Students receiving awards will be notified by their homeroom teacher.

(5/8) Teachers and students enjoyed a special treat yesterday. Thank you so much to Snow Biz Oxford and Michael and Sidra Winter for providing snow cones for everyone!

(5/7) Mrs. Brown’s 3rd grade music classes celebrated Cinco de Mayo with their own special night of music! Students sang songs about the heat and Mexican culture. In addition, student artwork was displayed in the gym. The evening culminated with students and family members performing the Mexican Hat Dance. A great time was had by all!
