Egg Day! (4/14) Fourth grade ELA classes participated in Egg Day. They worked through several egg themed activities including an egg word search, egg reading comprehension and a "theme" egg hunt in which the eggs they found had a song title hidden inside. The students read song lyrics to figure out theme.
Multiplication Showdown! (4/14) Each week in April, the 3rd grade math classes go head to head in a multiplication showdown. This week’s winners are a group of students from Mrs. Burrell’s homeroom.
State Research Project (4/14) In Mrs. Marquis' social studies class, students chose a state and are creating a research project to present facts about the state they chose. This project will review different research and writing skills previously taught.
Geometric Designs (4/13) Ms. Clingan and Mrs. Foster's math students used geometry knowledge to design playgrounds and make stained glass windows. Students used rulers to create stained glass art. The pictures had to include different types of triangles and geometric shapes.
Reteaching Geometry Skills (4/12) Students in Mrs. Foster's Math class worked together on projects about geometry. They created games and posters to reteach geometry skills. This was a fun, hands-on way to review.
Testing Rewards! (4/11) Mrs. Chrestman’s students were rewarded with Sonic slushies and extra recess after working hard on their LAS Links English Proficiency tests. These students put forth their very best effort, and we are so proud of them!!
Making Paper Airplanes (4/11) Fourth grade math classes created paper airplanes using math skills they've learned throughout the year. After flying their plane, they measured the distance and converted those measurements. The students had a great time with this hands on review lesson! Click the link for more photos!

Multiplication War Winners! (4/8) Third grade math teachers put their students to the test with a game of Multiplication Wars! The classes competed against each other in two rounds. Mrs. Marquis' students were the Champions!
MakerSpace Fun! (4/8) Mrs. Vineyard's fourth grade UFO students spent some time this week completing MakerSpace task cards. MakerSpace gives students a chance to create, problem solve, and develop mental rigor. They had a wonderful time!
